Termite Inspections

A pest inspection, sometimes referred to as a termite inspection is a thorough inspection for wood destroying insects, including termites, carpenter ants, powder post beetles and carpenter bees.  All termite inspections are FHA approved.  Our inspectors hold Connecticut 's DEP "S" or Supervisory License for wood boring insects.

Radon Testing

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas.  Certain soils may contain high levels of radon because of their uranium content.  Radon levels can be found everywhere in the world and high levels have been found in Connecticut . Radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer. 

Water Analysis

We provide a wide array or water tests.  Our complete water test includes bacteria (ecoli and coliform) and inorganic materials.  This test determines if the water is safe to drink (potable). Additional test offered are for lead in water, radon in water, and volatile organic chemicals.

Well Flow Test

This test is performed to determine if there is enough water to adequately feed the property for every day purposes.  We do a long term well flow test in which we deplete the well and monitor the flow rate in gallons per minute.

Lead Paint Inspection

Lead paint can be found in homes built prior to 1978.  It can create a health hazard especially for children.

Asbestos

Asbestos in the form of dust released into the air can be a health hazard.  However, if asbestos is intact or properly sealed it is not dangerous to our health.
